Wild Oscar Wilde. | From the Phila. Times.

With the suddenness of an apparition Mr. Oscar Wilde appeared before the audience at Association Hall yesterday afternoon, the knuckles of his left hand planted under his floating ribs..

Commentary:
The Chester Times of May 16th is reporting an undated issue of the Philadelphia Times.  The latest date of the lecture is therefore May 14th.  But given that Wilde was in New York by May 11th, the most likely date is that given by Beckson,  May 10th. We endeavour to view the original Philadelphia Times.

The long title of the lecture is that given in quotation marks in the article.
