Tomorrow night I lecture Lorne on dadoes at
Ottawa.
Commentary:
There
probably was not a formal lecture on this date. Mikhail might
have cited this date based on Wilde's
letter to Robertson with the above remark. This remark is probably a jest about 'lecturing' to a person,
not an audience, as the notes in Letters p.169 refer to Lorne as
The Marquess of Lorne, who was Governor of Canada at the time.
