CHICAGO, Feb. 13.--The audience which greeted
Oscar Wilde at the Centennial Music Hall*, to-night, was composed of the most
cultivated class of Chicago. It was very attentive and appreciative, and
at times enthusiastic. The Hall was full to overflowing but there was no
sign of rowdyism or impropriety of any kind.
Commentary:
*The name of the Music Hall is noted as Centennial not Central.
We find that Centennial is an error in the Montana primary source, Central
is correct as in other chronologies. See below.
